QNAP unveiled an enterprise IT infrastructure strategy combining data protection, AI infrastructure, and cybersecurity at Computex 2026.

QNAP participated in Computex 2026, held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center in Taiwan from the 2nd to the 5th, and introduced next-generation infrastructure solutions under the theme of 'Ready and Recovery'. The company presented backup and recovery, on-premises AI, network security, smart surveillance, and media production environments as key areas of enterprise IT operations.

In the data protection sector, it introduced 'HDP for Business'. This platform provides integrated data protection for Windows, virtualization, and Microsoft 365 environments, and supports ransomware response through immutable backups and quarantine storage methods. It also includes a feature that automatically verifies whether recovered virtual machines are functioning properly.

In the AI infrastructure sector, Intel unveiled 6-bay and 8-bay AI NAS based on Intel Core Ultra Series 3. QNAP emphasized that it supports enterprises in operating large-scale language models based on internal data. It also introduced natural language-based NAS management and AI search capabilities.

In the security domain, ADRA NDR X, a network detection and response solution, was presented. This solution focuses on the early detection of security threats, such as ransomware, by analyzing abnormal behavior and threat movements within the internal network.

QNAP also addressed smart surveillance and media production environments. It introduced AI-based video analysis, natural language video search, and video data backup features, and announced support for high-resolution video production environments through Thunderbolt-based NAS and IP-based AV management switches.

Meiji Chang, Chairman of QNAP, said, “Future IT infrastructure will evolve based on the combination of data integrity and local AI intelligence.”

QNAP Korea is sequentially introducing solutions unveiled at Computex 2026 to the domestic market. As the demand for corporate AI utilization and ransomware response aligns, the role of storage companies is expanding into the areas of data protection, AI operations, and security infrastructure.
