Achieved Grade 1 Energy Efficiency by Adding AI Features to AI DD Motor

LG Electronics (CEO Jae-cheol Ryu) has expanded its lineup of hybrid washer-dryers that combine core component technology with AI (artificial intelligence) functions, thereby increasing the range of products capable of managing large-capacity laundry and expanding the range of choices.

LG Electronics announced on the 22nd that it will launch new products this month, the 'LG TROMM AI Objet Collection Wash Tower' and 'LG TROMM AI Objet Collection Wash Combo,' which feature the largest capacity in Korea. The Wash Tower has a washing and drying capacity of 25kg each, and the Wash Combo has a washing capacity of 25kg and a drying capacity of 21kg, allowing you to wash and dry heavy laundry such as winter blankets.

The new product incorporates core component technology accumulated by LG Electronics over 60 years.

AI features have been added to key components, such as the motor that moves the washing drum and the compressor that lowers the temperature and produces dry air.

The AI DD motor, a core component, applies the optimal motion among six motions depending on the material and soiling level of the laundry, the amount of laundry, etc.

The company explained that the two products have lowered the burden of electricity bills by obtaining Grade 1 energy efficiency despite having the largest capacity in the country.

AI features include 'AI Time Sensing,' which identifies the amount of laundry and provides an estimated time for each course in just 3 seconds, and 'AI Time Guidance,' which learns usage patterns and provides an estimated drying time.

WashCombo is equipped with a dual inverter heat pump and a high-efficiency heat exchanger, and has increased component density to increase drying capacity by 6kg compared to existing products.

It was announced that when the 'small load quick course' is selected, the entire process from washing to drying is completed in about 64 minutes based on 3kg, reducing the time required by more than 30% compared to the previous product (99 minutes).

When combined with the Mini Wash, you can operate the Mini Wash from the Wash Combo display.

LG Electronics has also strengthened its subscription and care services.

We have added a 'direct high-pressure water cleaning' service that connects water pipes to the drum to clean the interior and exterior, maintains it with UV light, and checks its condition using endoscopic equipment.

Maintain the washing tub with a dedicated cleaner, and clean the detergent dispenser, mounting parts, and rubber seals with steam.

The new product colors for the Wash Tower are △Lux Silver △SThere are 7 colors including Teal Black, Taupe, and Almond, and 4 colors including Wash Combo, Lux Silver, Steel Black, Taupe, and Space Black.

The shipping price ranges from 5.09 million won to 5.19 million won depending on the specifications.
