June 22–July 5: Smart Store, 16 types of NAS and expansion storage
QNAP Korea is offering discounts on major models ranging from home to enterprise use, in line with the trend of data management shifting from external hard drives and cloud-centric methods to network storage, providing individuals and businesses looking to transition to a NAS environment with the opportunity to lower setup costs.
QNAP announced on the 22nd that it is participating in the Naver Smart Store discount event, Nepda Sale, and selling QNAP NAS and expansion storage products at up to 39% off.
The discount sale period is from June 22 to July 5, and the products range from 2-bay NAS for home backup and personal cloud setup to 4-bay, 6-bay, and 8-bay or larger NAS for SOHO and enterprise environments, as well as expansion storage for video storage and large-capacity data operations.
The maximum 39% discount is available while supplies last and may end early if stock runs out for each product.
QNAP Korea cited changes in the way individuals and companies manage data as the reason for participating in the event.
The explanation is that as photos, videos, documents, and work files are scattered across multiple devices, the demand for data storage is expanding to backup, recovery, sharing, security, and remote access.
Cloud services can place a significant burden on you in terms of long-term storage costs, data ownership, and managing large files, and external hard drives The company stated that the centralized approach also has limitations in terms of data distribution and protection.
QNAP NAS is an on-premises network storage system where users directly store and manage their data.
It supports a hybrid backup configuration linked with an external cloud and can be used for backing up personal smartphone photos, serving as a family file server, and storing multimedia.
The company stated that SOHO and small and medium-sized enterprises can use it for departmental shared folders, work data backup, CCTV video storage, and establishing remote collaboration systems.
The special offer applies to a total of 16 models, including 14 NAS models such as QNAP TS-233-KR, TS-433-KR, TS-264-4G-KR, TS-464-4G-KR, TS-473A-8G, TS-673A-8G, TBS-464-8G, HS-264-8G, TS-264-8G, TS-364-8G, TS-464-8G, TS-664-8G, TS-1655-8G, and TS-h973AX-8G, and 2 expansion storage models TR-002 and TR-004.
"As photos, videos, and business data are rapidly increasing, it has become important for both individuals and businesses to have a stable storage and backup environment," said Alexander Suh, General Manager of QNAP Korea. "This event will be a meaningful opportunity for customers looking to transition from a management method centered on external hard drives to a NAS-based environment."
