Conducted for 8 weeks with the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Productivity Center, reflecting feedback from young customers in the service
SK Telecom (CEO Jeong Jae-heon) is reflecting the opinions of young customers across its management and services through a project that collaborates with university students to discover ideas for improving the customer experience.

SKT announced that it will conduct the 'CX Campus' project for eight weeks starting from the 22nd, together with the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Productivity Center.

This program listens to the opinions of university students and derives service innovation ideas. It operates by having university students collaborate with SKT’s Customer Value Innovation, Marketing, and Security personnel to develop service improvement plans.

This project is part of the 'Future Tomorrow Work Experience Program,' overseen by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, supported by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and operated by the Korea Productivity Center.

SKT explained that it supports university students in gaining practical experience in the telecommunications field and developing their employability through mentoring from industry professionals.

SKT has completed the selection of individuals and teams of up to four people for current and former university and graduate students in Korea.

The project will run for a total of 8 weeks from the 22nd to August 16th.

The themes are flagship smartphone marketing, expansion of T Roaming usage, enhancement of security experience, and offline stores. These include plans for improving usage.

Participating university students collaborate with SKT practitioners to propose improvement directions and implementation items through market analysis, customer demand surveys, and case studies.

SKT plans to hold weekly review meetings and a final presentation in August.

The plan is to share the improvement proposals suggested at the presentation with relevant departments and translate them into service changes.

SKT has recently been continuing activities to meet directly with customers, listen to their opinions, and translate them into change.

Representative examples include the 'Visiting Service,' which visits digitally vulnerable groups to provide mobile education and service support, and activities such as the 'Customer Trust Committee' and 'Customer Advisory Group,' which consist of independent advisory bodies to listen to customer opinions.

Lee Hye-yeon, Head of SKT’s Customer Value Innovation Office, stated, “Unlike a simple internship, this project is an activity where university students form teams with SKT employees to contribute to actual service improvements,” adding, “We will ensure that even the smallest voices of various customers are not overlooked and that our efforts to change can be felt.”
