Mouser Electronics supports engineers in addressing embedded security challenges through its online Security Resource Centre. This center contains technical articles, e-books, blogs, and product resources covering connected device protection, industrial security, edge system design, and secure communication in 5G and next-generation 6G environments.

Mouser disclosed the operation of the Security Resource Center on the 24th.

With the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), which mandates vulnerability reporting starting September 11, 2026, coming into full effect, the burden on engineering teams to incorporate security from the early design stages has increased.

Companies outside the EU must also comply with these requirements to export connected products to the European market.

Previously, the European Commission released a draft of the relevant guidelines in March 2026.

Mouser stated that engineers can utilize the center in three aspects: strengthening basic security principles at the architecture level, responding to security requirements across industries, standards, and regulations, and bridging the gap between security guidelines and actual implementation.

The content is configured to consider device protection, authentication, and system integrity from the initial design stage.

It also provides data from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and industrial automation security resources.

The center covers hardware technologies that support Root of Trust (RoT) implementation, secure key storage, and authentication-based operations in IoT, edge, and industrial system design.

This includes security elements, security authenticators, and related components.

In addition, certification and credential protection and supply chain security guidelines, as well as industrial design content from NIST and TI (Texas Instruments), have been prepared.

Mouser announced that it updates information on standards, threats, and security best practices through regular updates.
