Launch of Autonomous Finance Platform T:0 and Digital Wallet Airi Accelerates Expansion of AI-Native Financial Infrastructure
Global payment and financial platform company Airwallex is expanding its business into autonomous finance and agency commerce following a large-scale investment round. Coinciding with the launch of new AI-based products, the company's value also rose by more than $3 billion in just half a year.
Airwallex announced on the 26th that it has raised $320 million (approximately 493 billion won) through a Series H investment round.
With this investment, the enterprise value was assessed at $11 billion (approximately 16.9 trillion won), a significant increase from $8 billion in December 2025.
The investment was led by existing investor Addition, along with Baillie Gifford, Hummingbird, QED Investors, T. Rowe Price, Hedosophia, Haun Ventures, and Washington University in St. Louis.

Airwallex announced that it plans to use the raised funds to accelerate the development of autonomous finance and agentic commerce products, expand new market infrastructure and regulatory foundations, and expand its workforce for AI-native financial software development.
Co-founder and CEO Jack Zhang stated, “The licensing system, financial network integration, and payment and settlement infrastructure built over the past 10 years are the foundation prepared for this very era,” adding, “We will accelerate the development of autonomous finance, agentic commerce, and the core financial infrastructure to support them.”
Airwallex unveiled two new products along with this investment.
The autonomous finance platform 'T:0' handles accounting, financial forecasting, tax, regulatory compliance, and reporting tasks from the early stages of a startup. It was designed to be automated.
The company explained that it can implement a financial operations system at the level of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) without the need for a separate system migration.
It is currently operating as a private beta version and is scheduled to be expanded within the next few weeks.
Digital wallet 'Airi' is a one-click payment solution targeting the agency commerce environment, and it was announced that it increased seller purchase conversion rates by up to 14% in initial tests.
We plan to sequentially add agent-delegated payments, multi-currency balance management, spending limit settings, and permission control features in the future.
Airwallex reported that as of March 2026, it recorded annualized revenue of $1.3 billion, a 74% increase from the same period last year, and annualized transaction volume of $287 billion, a 120% growth over the same period.
It was found that more than 90% of total sales come from customers using two or more Airwallex products.
Airwallex currently provides global financial operations services to over 676,000 companies worldwide and holds more than 85 licenses and permits.
