Nota, which has been continuing its growth in the VLM (Vision Language Model)-based video surveillance market, has added a new cloud-based sales channel by entering the Naver Cloud Marketplace. This move aims to expand customer touchpoints through platforms, moving away from its existing direct sales and project-centric structure.

Nota, a company specializing in AI model lightweighting and optimization, announced on the 2nd that it has listed its video surveillance solution 'NVA (Nota Vision Agent)' on the Naver Cloud Marketplace.

Naver Cloud Marketplace is an online store where corporate and institutional customers can explore and adopt solutions based on the Naver Cloud Platform.

NVA operates by going beyond the object detection of existing computer vision (CV) methods to analyze the situational context within an image through VLM and summarizing and explaining anomalies in text.

Since its launch, it has expanded its application fields to include industrial safety, traffic, disaster response, media, and public sector selective control, and has been introduced to companies and public institutions such as Kolon Industries and the Daejeon Regional Office of Land and Transportation.

In the field of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), overseas examples are also emerging in the Middle East and Kenya.

In this marketplace listing, Nota offers NVA in the form of a pre-configured package.

The company explained that it can shorten the PoC and deployment period, and allow for the gradual increase in the number of channels and detection scenarios, starting with a small number of channels.

By applying a monthly subscription billing structure, the burden of initial infrastructure investment has been reduced, and it is expected to facilitate the adoption of generative AI-based video surveillance by mid-sized and small businesses.
