Cooperation between hydrogen, ammonia and LNG terminals
Air Liquide Korea and GS Energy have joined hands for energy transition and carbon neutrality.
Air Liquide Korea announced on the 9th that it signed an MOU with GS Energy to cooperate on domestic and international CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilization and Sequestration), low-carbon hydrogen and ammonia, and cold energy utilization for LNG terminals.
The signing ceremony held at GS Energy headquarters was attended by executives from both companies, including Air Liquide Group CEO François Jacquot, Air Liquide Korea CEO Nicolas Poirien, GS Energy President Heo Yong-soo, and Hydrogen New Business Development Division Managing Director Lee Seung-hoon.
Through this agreement, both companies agreed to join forces to actively utilize each company's capabilities to actively promote energy transition and carbon neutrality.
Air Liquide Korea plans to utilize Air Liquide’s diverse expertise to promote various projects, including CCUS, low-carbon hydrogen and ammonia, and cold energy generated from GS Energy’s LNG terminal, to achieve carbon neutrality in the Yeosu Industrial Complex and the entire country.
