Jeonui Industrial Complex, 5,993㎡ in size, creating 90 jobs
Air Liquide Advanced Materials Korea (ALAM Korea) will invest 80 million dollars to build a semiconductor specialty gas plant in the Jeonui Industrial Complex in Sejong City.
Sejong Special Self-Governing City (Mayor Choi Min-ho) signed an investment agreement with Air Liquide Advanced Materials Korea (ALAM Korea) on the 16th for the production of process gases for semiconductors.
The total investment is 80 million dollars, or about 101 billion won in our currency. The plan is to build a semiconductor process gas plant on a 5,993㎡ site in Jeonui Industrial Complex by 2024. This is expected to create approximately 90 jobs.
ALAM, an affiliate of the French Air Liquide Group, was founded in 2013 in New Jersey, USA, and is a global company that manufactures specialty gases and chemicals used in semiconductor, display, and solar cell processes.
Paul Burlingame CEO said, “We are delighted to expand our production plant in the Sejong Jeonui Industrial Complex, which will help grow the local economy and provide better services to our customers in Korea and abroad.
