Create liquid nitrogen easily, anytime, anywhere, from air in the atmosphere
Cryo H&I, a company specializing in cryogenic refrigerator technology, is launching a new generator product that can easily create liquid nitrogen (LN2) from air anytime, anywhere. It is expected to improve convenience and stability as it can be used directly on-site where liquid nitrogen is needed.
CryoH&I announced on the 28th that it has completed the independent development of a liquid nitrogen generator (LN2 Generator) that supports convenient production of liquid nitrogen and is launching the small and medium-sized CLN series as its first product.
This liquid nitrogen generator is a product that combines the technology of separating and purifying high-purity nitrogen gas from general atmospheric air and the technology of liquefying ultra-low temperature gas, and can easily and safely produce liquid nitrogen as needed in industrial and research fields. Recently, with the interest in ultra-low temperatures growing due to superconductors and quantum computers, more demand is expected in the bio and general industrial fields.
In order to produce liquid nitrogen, a cryogenic technology that can create an extremely low-temperature environment of minus 196 degrees is essential. This extremely low-temperature cooling technology is so highly integrated that only a few advanced overseas companies possess it, and in Korea, CryoH&I is the only company that possesses it. CryoH&I has developed Korea's first liquid nitrogen generator using cryogenic cooling technology accumulated for over 20 years and is now supplying the product to the market in earnest.
Liquid nitrogen is mainly used in hospitals, pharmaceuticals, and bio industries for the purpose of experimenting with or storing microorganisms, cord blood, cells, vaccines, etc.
It is also widely used for cryogenic cooling in the fields of food processing, recycling, and superconductivity. This liquid nitrogen is mainly delivered in the form of pressure vessels by mass production companies and used at the point of demand.
On the other hand, with the launch of this small- to medium-sized liquid nitrogen generator, you can now produce liquid nitrogen directly and use it on-site anytime, anywhere with just a push of a button.
There is no need to make requests every time to purchase liquid nitrogen, and there is no need for cumbersome processes such as waiting for stock and on-site installation, which can further improve convenience, efficiency, and safety.
