Kyungnam University and Global University 30·RISE Project Implementation MOU
The Korea Institute of Materials Science (KIMS, President Choi Cheol-jin) has taken full action to strengthen the global competitiveness of local universities.
On the 2nd, the Materials Research Institute signed a business agreement with Gyeongnam National University (President Jae-gyu Park) at the Materials Research Institute conference room in Changwon, Gyeongnam Province, for the implementation of the Global University 30 and RISE projects.
The purpose of this business agreement is to establish a cooperative system for mutual cooperation and joint development through industry-academia-research-government linkages between the two organizations.
The two organizations will work together to develop joint technologies for fostering the ultra-large manufacturing AI industry and advancing core technologies, along with mutual cooperation necessary for carrying out the Global University 30 and RISE projects.
In addition, the two organizations will work together to achieve industry-academia cooperation through industry-academia-research cooperation seminars, special lectures, and workshops, and to cooperate with each other for internships and talent development to strengthen field education. They will also work together to develop and promote business for continuous exchanges, cooperation, and joint development between the two organizations.
