FLIR Systems Korea announced today the launch of the FLIR Si2x Series, an advanced acoustic imaging camera for detecting gas leaks, mechanical failures, and partial discharge (PD) in industrial environments.

Designed to prevent the frequent gas leaks and explosions that have occurred recently, this product boasts industry-leading performance and can accurately scan for problems at distances of up to 200 meters.

The FLIR Si2x series has the ability to detect partial discharges 30 times smaller than previous models and quantifies gas leaks to maximize cost savings.

It also improves operational efficiency by identifying mechanical defects in the conveyor system in advance, and is equipped with an acoustic imager that is ATEX explosion-proof certified, allowing safe operation even in environments with a risk of explosion.

Another strength is that it has AI-based real-time decision support and a user-friendly design that makes it easy for even unskilled workers to use.

Our flagship product, FLIR Si2x-ProTM and Si2x-LDTM models are specialized for various industrial fields such as oil and gas, manufacturing, and wastewater treatment.

The Si2x-Pro provides the ability to automatically assess partial discharge severity, especially for high-voltage critical components, and both models support quantitative analysis of toxic and flammable gases.
