The electronic expansion valve DX1 series introduced by Emerson this time has the advantage of a compact design compared to existing products, and consists of a 48g valve and a 129g stator. It was specifically developed and manufactured to target the Asian region, which has high demand for advanced technology and industrialization.
The DX1 series is applicable to R404A, R22, R32, R448A, R449A, R407c refrigerants, as well as the widely used eco-friendly refrigerants R410a and R134a. It provides a cooling capacity of from a minimum of 6.2kW to a maximum of 33.9kW for 'R410a' and from a minimum of 5.3kW to a maximum of 28.9kW for 'R22'.
It features a stepper motor that precisely controls the inflow of refrigerant to prevent unnecessary overheating of the system, and it can be used in a heat pump for both heating and cooling due to the two-way movement of refrigerant between the condenser and evaporator.
In addition, it has been verified for its high reliability, operating normally even in harsh environments with a lot of dust and humidity, by obtaining the IP 67 rating, which is an international dust and waterproof protection standard.
Emerson’s Vice President Lee Won-hee said, “The DX1 series we unveiled this time can improve energy efficiency and optimize heating and cooling capacity through precise and stable control,” adding, “It will continue to provide high value to companies in the transportation, commercial, and IT industries that must increase the proportion of non-face-to-face interactions due to the COVID-19 situation.”
