With HID mobile access solutions
Through HID Origo API and SDK
Direct hardware access possible HID Global has launched HID Origo, a cloud platform that helps partners build a seamless and intuitive work environment.

HID Global HID Origo combines HID's access control architecture with mobile ID technology and future location services to deliver a unified cloud experience for physical security, diverse building applications, services, and IoT use cases.
HID Origo offers a comprehensive application-based innovation model that provides integration, implementation, development tools, and services, simplifying how partners, developers, and resellers bring access control solutions to market. This means that rather than developing and implementing solutions for one customer or site at a time, HID Origo enables the integrated development and deployment of new applications and integrated solutions across HID Global's millions of access control devices and systems.
The HID Origo platform provides cloud connectivity and IoT capabilities as application extensions to mobile devices, HID readers, and controllers, allowing developers to directly access the hardware through HID Origo APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) and SDKs (Software Development Kits), proven in HID's mobile access solutions.
Additionally, we use data analytics to create a more streamlined and specialized work environment, with new features such as remote reader configuration, access control prediction system maintenance, and interest analysis.
HID Origo is provided on a subscription basis. HID Origo's subscription-based billing model enables enterprises to improve forecasting, budgeting, and reporting capabilities while making it easier to order and manage mobile IDs.
You can also send mobile ID subscription licenses to your employees and register multiple mobile IDs on multiple devices at no additional cost.
“HID Origo provides the foundation for a broad ecosystem of cloud-based access control technologies, products, services and business models that can accelerate workplace transformation,” said Hilding Arrehe, vice president, Physical Access Control and Cloud Services at HID Global. “With the HID Origo platform, HID Global will remove many of the barriers to integrating access control systems with smart building applications.”
He added, “We will continue to expand the value of the platform to further improve the way users safely navigate facilities and interact with the services it provides.”
