'Espressif Systems' ESP32-H2-MINI-1x module supplied
Mouser offers modules from Espressif Systems optimized to provide Matter compatibility.
Mouser Electronics announced today that it is now stocking the ESP32-H2-MINI-1x module from Espressif Systems.
The ESP32-H2-MINI-1x module is a powerful combo module that supports both the widely used Bluetooth® Low Energy (Bluetooth LE) and IEEE 802.15.4, and is optimized to provide Matter compatibility.
The Matter standard is a unified, industry-standard IP-based connectivity protocol that not only simplifies the implementation of IoT applications, but also allows easy integration into diverse ecosystems such as smart home, industrial automation, consumer electronics, smart agriculture, and healthcare.
The ESP32-H2-MINI-1x module from Espressif Systems, available at Mouser, features the ESP32-H2 system-on-chip (SoC), a 32-bit RISC-V single-core CPU running at up to 96MHz, and a low-power smart coprocessor that continuously monitors peripherals to maximize power efficiency.
ESP32-H2 supports multiple protocols (I2C, I2S, It has up to 19 GPIOs, including SPI, UART, ADC, LED PWM, ETM, GDMA, PCNT, PARLIO, RMT, TWAI, MCPWM, USB Serial/JTAG), a temperature sensor, general-purpose timers, system timers, and watchdog timers.
The ESP32-H2-MINI-1x module is ideally suited for implementing Thread end devices, as well as Thread border routers and matter bridges, in combination with the ESP Wi-Fi® SoC.
The tiny ESP32-H2-MINI-1x module is pin-to-pin compatible with the ESP32-C3-MINI and ESP32-C6-MINI modules. The ESP32-H2-MINI-1x module features 320KB of SRAM with 16KB cache, 128KB of ROM and 4KB of LP memory, as well as 2MB or 4MB of integrated SiP flash memory.
The ESP32-H2-MINI-1x module is supported by the ESP32-H2-DevKitM-1 development kit from Espressif Systems. Available at Mouser, the development kit is an entry-level development board featuring the ESP32-H2-MINI-1 module, making interfacing extremely easy, as the I/O signals are handled by pin headers on either side of the board.
Developers can connect peripherals using jumper wires or use Espressif's ESP32-H2-DevKitM-1 on a breadboard.
