ABB is entering the domestic online market for industrial plugs and sockets.

ABB announced on the 12th that it will begin selling industrial plugs and sockets through domestic online shopping malls.

The products offered range from 16A to 125A and 200V to 690V.

ABB industrial plugs and sockets are used to connect various equipment in environments where water and dust may occur, such as general industrial sites, manufacturing plants, transportation, shopping centers, hospitals, performance halls, camping sites, and motorhomes. Another feature is that they are easily compatible with other brands.

“ABB’s industrial plugs and sockets have been continuously improved in design and components for over 60 years,” said Yong-Hyo Park, Vice President and Head of ABB Korea’s Electrification business. “Our goal is to meet customer requirements while considering environmental aspects, which is why our products are the right choice for end users in sectors with high demands on safety, durability, reliability and cost savings.”

The product is currently available for purchase directly from the online interior design specialty market, Mungori.com, and is scheduled to be sequentially introduced to various online shopping malls, including Naver Store, 11st, Coupang, and Auction.
