Support for mPTS, LTE and 5G pre-performance testing

mPTS virtually implements various wireless environment factors in its internal laboratory to minimize trial and error that may occur during the operation of mobile communication services. This will allow for advance performance testing of commercial LTE and 5G services.
Through this 5G equipment supply, LG U+ will be able to verify software and terminal issues at mobile base stations by linking multiple base stations and multiple actual terminals based on various scenarios.
The mPTS, jointly developed by U+ and Innowireless, supports 5G NSA (non-standalone mode) test configuration in conjunction with the existing LTE network test environment, and can be expanded to a 5G massive MIMO environment.
In addition, it provides the ability to reproduce problem situations that may occur in a network operation environment through channel technology that can model real life, and to predict problem situations and verify network capacity based on accumulated data.
It also supports the construction of an all-in-one automatic test system that can automatically perform tests on the entire mobile communication network in the laboratory by linking with various high-performance product groups.
