Improving decision-making capacity and accelerating the achievement of carbon neutrality goals
AspenTech (Korea Branch Representative Kim Heung-sik), a global leader in industrial software, is helping customers improve their decision-making capabilities and accelerate the achievement of carbon neutrality goals through the launch of its new aspenONE® software.
AspenTech announced on the 22nd the release of V14, the latest version of its aspenONE® software.
This new aspenONE V14 delivers advanced intelligence and guidance capabilities to improve decision-making and further enhance operational excellence.
It also accelerates sustainability projects by applying over 100 sample models and helps reduce carbon footprints by managing Scope 1 and 2 emissions.
“This is a critical time for businesses to optimize efficiency and sustainability across their operations,” said David Arbeitel, senior vice president of product management at AspenTech. “Our customers face the dual challenge of meeting the increasing demands of a growing population in a more sustainable way. “The new capabilities in V14 help customers achieve stronger business outcomes while streamlining their journey toward sustainability goals and operational excellence,” he explained.
aspenONE V14 has over 100 sustainability sample models to facilitate modeling in emissions management, hydrogen economy, carbon capture, resource circulation, bio-based raw materials, and renewable energy. It automates the collection of CO2 emissions data from multiple sources for decarbonization compliance/reporting, and helps customers model carbon emissions from their plant operations to achieve their sustainability goals.
The core value delivered by the V14 version is the improvement of business decision making. With the introduction of two new product families, AVA (Aspen Virtual Advisor) for DMC3 and AURA (Aspen Unified Reconciliation and Accounting), and the enhancement of new features and integration with existing solutions, it provides actionable guidance/real-time augmented intelligence and prioritizes anomaly and failure alerts based on severity and operational risk. Additionally, V14 enables faster and more efficient data validation using mass and volume balances to minimize material loss and enable better decision making by evaluating maintenance options to minimize impact on promised production and order schedules.
“AspenTech’s latest release, V14, demonstrates the company’s commitment to innovation through new software to accelerate customers’ sustainability programs,” said Peter Reynolds, senior analyst, ARC Advisory Group. “The deeper integration of planning, scheduling, production accounting and maintenance capabilities enables users to break down data silos and get more value from their software. AspenTech is also demonstrating its industry leadership by applying cognitive analytics and adding unique AI capabilities to address long-standing technology transfer and operator acceptance issues in systems such as Advanced Process Control (APC).”
The latest version of aspenONE V14 software is now available. Details on all new products and features can be found on the release page.
