Schneider's new compact APC UPS now protects your devices from sudden power outages even for personal use.

Schneider Electric Korea announced on the 17th that it has launched a new, high-quality, small-scale APC UPS (uninterruptible power supply) product to prevent power outages.

UPS is a device that provides continuous backup power to IT and other major systems, protecting devices from sudden power outages and power fluctuations, preventing data loss, system crashes, and potential hardware damage. It is used in everything from industrial settings to personal aspects such as homes, offices, and businesses.

The product launched this time is a small APC UPS for devices that require power protection in everyday life, such as gaming computers and smart home devices. In particular, the APC Back-UPS Pro Gaming (hereinafter referred to as Gaming UPS), which meets the needs of gamers, is expected to be able to protect the gaming system from various types of power outages by backing up the computer's battery.

It will also keep your router and modem powered on, keeping you online even if the game is forced to close, and prevent hardware damage caused by sudden power outages. Users can detect power abnormalities such as voltage drops and wiring faults through the notification signal of the gaming UPS, and can safely enjoy the game in progress by checking the remaining battery level in the event of a power outage.

Schneider also introduced the APC Back-UPS Connect (DC UPS), a home UPS specifically designed to provide long-term power supply to ensure safety in the networking field. In the event of a power outage, it provides power to network equipment such as routers, modems, and other smart home devices for up to four hours, keeping connected devices online and operational.

In particular, APC Back-UPS Connect products are configured with a total of three different DC (direct current) output connector tips, ensuring high compatibility with various network equipment.
