Schneider Electric announced on the 26th that it will be introducing its next-generation power distribution product, 'MasterPact MTZ', at Schneider Electric's 'Innovation Day Seoul 2019' to be held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Seoul on July 4th.

The Masterpact MTZ is part of EcoStruxure Power, Schneider Electric’s open and interoperable IoT era, future-ready air circuit breakers that can be adapted to increase efficiency and meet sustainability demands.

Schneider Electric has been setting standards for air circuit breakers since 1987, starting with the development of the 'Masterpact M' and continuing with products such as the 'Masterpact NT/NW'.

The Masterfact series is valuable in the distribution sector, where new regulations are needed due to digitalization, decentralization, and the spread of eco-friendly alternative fuels. In the power distribution sector, there is a growing demand for solutions that take into account safety, cybersecurity, reliability, efficiency and sustainability.

Masterpact MTZ circuit breakers help customers prepare for the future of distribution with smart connectivity, remote monitoring and easy customization via digital modules.

The new circuit breakers are part of the EcoStruxure Power architecture, allowing seamless integration with building and energy management systems.

It features smartphone connectivity for wireless alarms and maintenance, and has built-in Class 1 precision for energy-saving features.

It is easily customizable via digital modules and features the intuitive ‘Micrologic X’ control unit.

It also features durability that allows it to operate even in harsh environments.
