Micro electric vehicles can replace narrow European roads and Southeast Asian motorcycles Kim Jong-bae, CEO of Mybe, said that he will overcome the difficulties caused by the economic downturn and the blockade of China and grow Mybe so that it can be competitive in the global market through exports.
In a recent interview with our paper, CEO Kim said, “Mybe is preparing in earnest to enter the European and Southeast Asian motorized quadricycle markets starting this year.”
Motorized quadricycles can be interpreted as 'electrically powered four-wheeled bicycles' and are an attractive sector to enter in Europe with its narrow roads and Southeast Asia where they can replace motorcycles, rather than countries with wide roads like the US.
He added that countries like the United States, which have wide roads and tend to prefer large cars, are not considering micro-electric vehicles because they do not seem to fit in.
CEO Kim Jong-bae expressed confidence, saying, “Mybe has completed its performance verification over the past two summers and two winters and is now preparing to enter overseas markets in earnest.”

The flagship model of Myve is the M1, which has a battery capacity of 10kIt takes about 3 to 4 hours to charge at 3.3kW with W, and can travel 100km when fully charged.
Since it can be refilled for around 2,000 won, Myve drivers do not feel burdened even with the current skyrocketing oil prices.
Micro electric vehicles are not allowed to exceed a maximum speed of 80 km/h by regulation. They can be driven at a maximum speed of 70 km/h in eco mode and 80 km/h in sports mode.

Meanwhile, CEO Kim Jong-bae said that vehicles will be supplied to public areas such as tourist cities to ensure customers have easy access to Myve.
About 40 Myve vehicles will be deployed in the Gangneung Smart City project in 2022, and Myve M1 will be available through car sharing.
It was reported that there are currently twelve Myve vehicles in operation in Udo, and that the number of vehicles being used by rental car companies is also increasing.
