나승식 한자연 원장과 강남훈 KAMA 회장은 22일 한국자동차연구원 본원에서 R&D 성과물 확산 및 기업 성장 지원 활성화를 위한 상호 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

Common goal: domestic automobile industry development and response to future car paradigm shift
Expected to derive future directions through R&D achievement diffusion and corporate growth support The Korea Automobile Research Institute (hereinafter referred to as KARI) and the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association (hereinafter referred to as KAMA) are cooperating to develop the domestic automobile industry.
President Na Seung-sik of Hanjaeyeon and Chairman Kang Nam-hoon of KAMA announced on the 22nd that they signed a mutual business agreement at the headquarters of the Korea Automobile Research Institute to promote the spread of R&D results and support corporate growth.
On this day, about 10 key figures attended the MOU signing ceremony, including the two heads of the organizations, Lim Gwang-hoon, Vice President of the Hanjayun Management Strategy Headquarters, Kim Hyeon-cheol, Vice President of the Hanjayun Industrial Policy Research Institute, and Kim Joo-hong, Chairman of KAMA.
The MOU contains a plan for joint development to strengthen the competitiveness of the domestic automobile industry through the establishment of an organic cooperation system between the two organizations in order to quickly respond to the paradigm shift in future automobiles.
The specific contents of the agreement include: △provision of automobile industry statistics and trends, △support for business for the parts industry to transition to future cars, △establishment of stabilization of the global supply chain, △training of talent and establishment of R&D base for future technology innovation, etc.
Starting with the business agreement with KAMA, Hanjayeon will support the transition of the domestic automobile parts industry to future vehicles based on statistical data and information exchange on technology demand from automobile manufacturers.We expect that this will speed up the construction of the system.
Na Seung-sik, the president of Hanjaeyeon, said, “This business agreement with KAMA, which shares the common goal of developing the domestic automobile industry, will provide an opportunity to accurately assess industry analysis and R&D issues,” adding, “We will continue to actively cooperate with various fields to strengthen global automobile competitiveness.”
