Self-developed electric vehicle architecture applied, the new EQE SUV first revealed
Maybach and the late Virgil Abloh's ultimate legacy, Maybach S 680 unveiled
Mercedes has answered the question of what class is. Mercedes-Benz, which promotes the strategy of "The world's most desirable cars," has revealed vehicles that live up to its reputation and answered the question of what class is.
Mercedes-Benz showed that 'Mercedes is Mercedes' by unveiling the 7th generation AMG SL, the new EQE SUV with its own developed electric vehicle architecture, and the luxurious Maybach S 680 at the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show Press Day on the 30th.
Mercedes' strategy, which can be seen at this mobility show, is luxury and electrification.
Mercedes' luxury strategy in Korea, which has the highest luxury consumption rate, is considered very successful. In 2022, sales of Mercedes' top-end luxury models such as the S-Class, Maybach, and AMG increased by 17% compared to 2021. Accordingly, Mercedes plans to attack the Korean market with luxury cars such as AMG and Maybach in 2023 as well.
Mercedes' electrification strategy continues after it shifted from 'electric-first' to 'electric-only' in 2021. Mercedes has stated that it will convert all its models to pure electric by 2030, as long as market conditions allow. In 2023, Mercedes will solidify its electrification strategy with the new EQE SUV and others.

This model features an aerodynamic design and amenities that provide a comfortable driving experience.
The exterior of the EQE SUV combines the Mercedes-EQ family look with aerodynamic efficiency. The height is achieved by applying various design elements. A patent-pending wheel spoiler is applied in front of the front axle to improve airflow to the front wheels.
A notable technology is the optional 'Airmatic Air Suspension'. It consists of a four-link suspension at the front and an independent multi-link suspension at the rear, and the damping adjustment system ADS+ can increase the vehicle's ground clearance by up to 25 mm. Safety can be improved when selecting the off-road mode available on the four-wheel drive model.
The indoor experience is also something to be concerned about. This model provides a 360-degree sound experience, unlike existing stereo systems, with Dolby Atmos sound. In addition, 'Energizing Air Control Plus' using a HEPA filter effectively purifies indoor air, and 'Energizing Comfort' organically controls indoor temperature, lighting, music, seats, etc. to maximize the in-vehicle experience.
Looking at the global specifications of the EQE SUV, the battery capacity is 90.56 kWh and the range on a single charge is 460-547 km.
