Porsche Korea Co., Ltd. imported and sold 14,759 units of two models, including the Cayenne, which were found to have an error in the instrument panel software that caused the brake system failure automatic indication identification code to not meet safety standards. 3,901 units of 3 models, including the Mercedes-AMG G 63, imported and sold by Mercedes-Benz Korea Co., Ltd., were damaged due to friction between the front brake wiring bundle and the auxiliary oil cooler, which resulted in the failure of the anti-lock braking system (ABS) and other components. Since it has been confirmed that there is a possibility of an accident occurring, corrective action (recall) is being taken voluntarily.
The vehicle in question can be repaired free of charge (repair after inspection) at official Mercedes-Benz Korea service centers starting April 7.
137 Ranger Wildtraks (including those sold before) imported and sold by Ford Sales Service Korea Co., Ltd. had a software setting error in the instrument panel that did not display a malfunction signal when the rear side blind spot warning system malfunctioned, which resulted in an accident when changing lanes. 142 units of two models of two-wheeled vehicles, including the Triumph Bonneville T120 Black, imported and sold by Bike Korea Co., Ltd. This has resulted in the brakes not working, which could potentially cause an accident. Voluntarily take corrective action (recall).
The vehicle in question can be repaired (replaced with improved parts) free of charge at Bike Korea’s official service centers starting April 18.
In relation to this defect correction, each manufacturer will notify vehicle owners of the correction method via mail and text message.
