Participating in CPU and communication semiconductor design at global companies including Intel headquarters
CEO Kim, “We will achieve success based on the capabilities and trust of our company members”
Etiforce Co., Ltd. appoints a new CEO and seeks success in the rapidly growing 5G-V2X global market.
Domestic 5G-V2X startup Etiforce announced on the 19th that it has appointed Kim Ho-jun as its new CEO.

The new CEO, Ho-Jun Kim, is a co-founder of Etiforce and served as the global CTO before taking office as CEO, leading the acquisition of core V2X technologies and global business partnerships.
CEO Kim Ho-jun majored in electronic engineering at the University of Minnesota in the United States, participated in CPU and communication semiconductor design at global semiconductor companies such as Intel headquarters and Globespan, and founded Etiforce in 2018.
Kim Ho-jun, CEO, said, "The industry is moving quickly to take the lead in the V2X market, with Autotalks, a V2X semiconductor fabless company, being acquired by Qualcomm in April, and Samsung, LG, and Qualcomm jointly investing $15 million in Commsignia, a V2X technology company." He added, "In this turbulent V2X market, Etiphos is positioned to compete with global companies." He expressed his will, saying, “We must win.”
CEO Kim continued, “Since its founding, Etiphos has established an R&D team with the best engineers at home and abroad and has succeeded in developing 5G-V2X IP and equipment, laying the foundation for a global business.” He added, “I am confident that Etiphos’ global business will definitely succeed because of the skills and trustworthiness of Etiphos members.”
Meanwhile, Etiforce is developing 5G-V2X IP and equipment based on the world's first SDM (software-defined modem) technology and supplying it to domestic and international research institutes and C-ITS projects.
It is evaluated that this will not only bring about an import substitution effect for the Korean V2X industry, which currently relies on foreign semiconductors, but also contribute to enhancing the global competitiveness of the V2X industry and autonomous driving industry.
