24 companies including Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motors introduce engineering research and development results using MATLAB
30 sessions planned… Illuminating ways to utilize MATLAB and Simulink applicable to industrial fields A total of 24 companies, including Samsung Electronics and Hyundai Motors, will be presenting their research and development results in engineering and science using MATLAB.
MathWorks announced that it will hold 'MATLAB EXPO 2024 Korea (hereinafter referred to as MATLAB EXPO)' at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas on June 11.
The annual MATLAB Expo brings together MathWorks customers and technical experts to share best practices and insights on key technology trends.
This year's MATLAB Expo will feature 30 sessions across five tracks with expert speakers introducing their research achievements.
The keynote speech at this year's MATLAB Expo was given by Jae-Kwan Lee, Director of the Autonomous Driving Technology Research Center at the Korea Automotive Technology Institute (KATECH), on the topic of 'The Future and Reality of Autonomous Driving.'
Next, Arun Mulpur, Industry Director at MathWorks, will present on the topic, “The Impact and Direction of Model-Based Design for Digital Engineering.”
Then there are 5 tracks and 30The session will highlight ways to utilize MATLAB and Simulink in various industries, including customer success stories from Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor Company, Qualitas Semiconductor, Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute, and POSTECH.
The number of customer-presented sessions has tripled over last year, allowing attendees to see the potential of MATLAB and Simulink through richer case studies.
“MATLAB Expo has established itself as an event for many years where engineers, scientists, researchers, and educators related to domestic engineering systems can share and exchange technology trends and research results in various fields,” said Jongmin Lee, CEO of MathWorks Korea. “This year as well, we hope that participants will gain ways to improve their research results by applying MATLAB and Simulink to their research through presentations by technology experts from leading global companies carefully selected by MathWorks.”
MathWorks Korea will introduce new features and use cases of MATLAB and Simulink through expert sessions on topics such as △Voice data recognition using deep learning and △GPU-based AI application development.
Additionally, technical computing experts will conduct sessions on artificial intelligence, system design and software development, electrification, wireless and signal processing, hardware description language (HDL), and advanced management systems (AMS).
During the event, attendees will have the opportunity to use MathWorks solutions presented in customer case presentations and see demos from experts.
Detailed agenda and registration information for this event can be found on the official MATLAB Expo website (https://www.matlabexpo.com/kr/2024.html).
Also, MathWorks partners Altera, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Vectoror), InnoX, etc. will also participate in the booth and present on programmable logic solutions, cloud, automotive electronic device development, virtual power system construction, and battlefield controller development.
The newly established startup booth at Evergreen introduces the ‘MathWorks Startup Program’, which supports domestic startups.
MORAI, a promising startup in the autonomous driving technology field, and WithBEER, a virtual power system solution company, will present successful collaborations with MathWorks related to project research, prototype development, and production.
