Joint operation of a convergence education program for satellite research and design theory and practice
Hanwha Systems (CEO Sung-chul Eo) and Korea Aerospace University (President Hee-young Huh) have joined hands to foster talent in the space and satellite fields.
On the 20th, Hanwha Systems signed an MOU with the Korea Aerospace University for ‘field-oriented talent development in the space and satellite fields in the NewSpace era’ at the Hanwha Building in Janggyo-dong, Seoul.
According to the agreement, Hanwha Systems and Korea Aerospace University will jointly operate on-site practical and theoretical education courses to acquire space business capabilities and know-how centered on the sectors of △satellite orbit and attitude control △SAR satellite payload △satellite structural design △satellite thermal design, and promote exchange of human and material infrastructure and joint performance of research projects.
Hanwha Systems CEO Eosungcheol Oh said, “We aim to contribute to fostering future talents who combine expertise with practical competitiveness through the ‘Korea Aerospace University-Hanwha Systems Symbiotic Education Program’ that will lead to our country’s leap forward as a space technology powerhouse.”
