Recruiting corporate members to participate in the investment forum until the 18th of next month.

The Korea Semiconductor Industry Association (KSIA) is recruiting corporate members to participate in the 'Semiconductor Investment Forum' until the 18th of next month to provide domestic semiconductor companies with customized one-stop services, including support for smooth financing, financial consulting, marketing, and R&D.

The recruitment target is domestic semiconductor design, manufacturing, equipment, materials, and components companies, as well as small, medium-sized, and early-stage startups engaged in semiconductor businesses such as sensors and embedded software, that require investment and growth support. Furthermore, industries utilizing semiconductors, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), autonomous vehicles, artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), robotics, and drones, are also included.

Corporate members who have joined the Semiconductor Investment Forum will be provided with growth support programs such as: △ support for attracting investment and connecting with investors through IR conferences, semiconductor growth funds, VCs, etc.; △ support for participation in domestic and international exhibitions and overseas road shows; △ support for R&D linked to the Semiconductor Association's projects (MPW, pattern wafers, semiconductor equipment/material performance evaluation, joint R&D promotion, etc.); and △ participation in university visit recruitment road shows. In addition, we plan to provide financial support programs such as corporate value analysis, asset management, and IR consulting through Samsung Securities.

Meanwhile, the Semiconductor Growth Fund, with a total value of KRW 200 billion, was created with joint contributions of KRW 50 billion and KRW 25 billion from Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix, respectively, to strengthen the competitiveness of the domestic semiconductor industry. The parent fund is managed by Korea Growth Finance Corporation, and the Korea Semiconductor Industry Association serves as the support office.

The Semiconductor Growth Fund supports companies by categorizing them into three stages: startup, growth, and M&A. The selection of the startup-stage investment manager (Jiyu Investment) was completed in May.
