DLSS support provides enhanced performance without quality degradation
NVIDIA (CEO Jensen Huang), a leader in AI computing technology, is expected to deliver enhanced performance without compromising image quality by achieving up to 46% performance improvement in Back 4 Blood through NVIDIA DLSS.
NVIDIA announced today that it will be applying its AI-based NVIDIA DLSS technology to Back for Blood, published by Warner Bros. Games and developed by Turtle Rock Studios.
DLSS accelerates graphics and improves performance by minimizing or eliminating image quality degradation through continuous technology advancement. In addition to native image quality and outstanding performance, DLSS allows gamers to experience Back for Blood’s survival experience vividly with GeForce RTX hardware.
NVIDIA DLSS, which uses AI technology, provides enhanced performance without compromising image quality. As shown in the comparison image below, DLSS maintains native quality while further enhancing fine lines based on AI training solutions. This can be seen in the bricks, edges of windows, and vents implemented in the game.
Additionally, DLSS reconstructs images to render thin objects with thin lines more precisely than native ones. Through temporal anti-aliasing (TAA), anti-aliasing (AA), and scalers, DLSS reconstructs in-game objects with exceptional stability, including fine details such as antennas on buildings and mesh and barbed wire.
Back for Blood offers excellent scaling at 4K resolution on all RTX GPUs with DLSS enabled, pushing performance to an average of over 70 frames per second on GPUs such as the RTX 3060 and above.
