Merck, a leading science and technology company, is actively providing a platform utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) and big data to improve the semiconductor supply chain and address semiconductor shortages.

Merck announced today a new partnership with Palantir Technologies Inc. to provide a secure data analytics collaboration platform for the semiconductor industry.

Through this partnership, Merck plans to supply the Athinia platform together with Palantir.

Athinia leverages AI and big data to enable semiconductor manufacturers and materials suppliers to share, aggregate, and analyze data in one place, addressing key challenges such as semiconductor supply shortages and improving processes for quality, supply chain transparency, and time to market.
