Wolfspeed shares key insights into silicon carbide (SiC) solutions, including the benefits and technical challenges of SiC and how SiC can be used to make future power applications more efficient.

Wolfspeed will hold the ' Future Power Generation - 2023 Wolfspeed Power Technical Roadshow ' on March 22nd at COEX 3rd floor conference room 300.

This event is designed to share information on key solutions using SiC semiconductors in SiC solutions and energy storage systems for renewable energy and off-board chargers.

The event will feature a presentation by Guy Moxey of Wolfspeed on the topic, “The Future of Power Applications Leveraging Advances in Silicon Carbide Technology,” and RexinWang and Carter Chen on “Design-Time The topic of presentation is 'The Importance of Off-Board Chargers through SiC Value Proposition'.

After tea time, RexinWang and Carter Chen will present on the topic of 'The Critical Role of Energy Storage Systems (ESS) in Supporting Solar Power and Grid Stability through SiC Value Proposition in Design'.

Finally, Wolfspeed Management and a team of technical experts will conduct a joint Q&A.

Wolfspeed is the world's largest producer of SiC wafers. He has over 35 years of experience in the SiC field.

In 2011, we launched the industry's first SiC MOSFET and have since led the transition of existing IGBT solutions to SiC in the electric vehicle sector.

Recently, the company announced plans to invest $5 billion to increase SiC wafer production by tenfold compared to the existing level.

SiC semiconductors can withstand high voltages more than 10 times higher than conventional silicon semiconductors, so they are mainly used in power semiconductors, such as onboard chargers, electric vehicle inverters, and solar power generators.
