Today, high resolutions such as 4K UHD and 6K are driving the growth of digital content. In particular, with the proliferation of high-resolution cameras, photography enthusiasts and professionals are capturing, shooting, and sharing important moments in high resolution, which is leading to more pressure in terms of performance, capacity, durability, and cost.
Western Digital (WD), a global leader in storage solutions, announced today that it is expanding its SanDisk Extreme PRO® memory card lineup with the introduction of the SanDisk Extreme PRO® SDXC™ UHS-II Card with Video Speed Class 60 (V60) rating.
The SanDisk Extreme Pro SDXC UHS-II card (V60) delivers sustained write speeds of at least 60MB/s, enabling cinematic 6K video capture in normal shooting mode, while also enabling users to shoot in high resolution and produce professional-quality results at all times. In addition, this SD card not only supports large-capacity video storage with a generous capacity of up to 1TB [3], but also has excellent durability, allowing users to safely store their precious files.
The SanDisk Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-II card supporting the V60 rating is a memory card solution specialized for supporting the creative work of prosumers and professionals, featuring high quality, durability, and excellent cost-effectiveness.
It has a V60 rating, provides a minimum sustained write speed of 60MB/s, and supports cinematic 6K video recording in normal shooting mode. Depending on the camera used, it can capture high-resolution 4K UHD video during normal shooting and slow motion shooting, and can capture Full HD video with super slow motion shooting.
With speeds of up to 150MB/s (limited to 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB capacity models), you can expect excellent shooting results even during continuous burst mode shooting and time-lapse shooting. When used with the 'SanDisk® Professional PRO-READER Multi Card' reader, as well as a UHS-II compatible reader or slot, it supports fast offloading at speeds of up to 280MB/s.
It offers a wide range of capacities, including 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Users can easily respond to situations where they run out of storage space or need to replace the card at an important moment and continue shooting. It also supports waterproofing, shock, and vibration resistance, and supports functions to prevent damage from temperature, drops, radiation, and magnetic fields, so it can operate smoothly even in harsh environments. We offer a lifetime limited warranty.
