The four new STM32G0 devices, housed in 8-pin packages, feature a 64MHz Arm Cortex-M0+ CPU delivering 59 DMIPS, up to 8Kbyte RAM and 32Kbyte Flash on-chip, a 2.5Msps ADC, high-resolution timers, and a high-speed SPI.
Designers can upgrade the functionality of their end products by mapping I/O pins and internal MCU functions. The internal oscillator is stable with ±1% accuracy over a wide temperature and voltage range, eliminating the need for external clock components.
STM32G0 MCUs, ideal for energy-saving applications, are available now in the 6 × 4.9mm SO8N package. Prices start at $0.31 for the STM32G030J6 Value Line MCU in orders of 1,000 pieces. The 8-pin Discovery kit STM32G0316-DISCO costs $9.90.
The STM32G031J6, STM32G031J4, and STM32G041J6 Access Line MCUs are also available in the SO8N package. They offer additional features such as hardware AES acceleration, a secure memory area, additional timers, and a 96-bit unique device ID.
