Terra Quantum AG, a leading hybrid quantum computing company, is expanding its quantum innovation and global business opportunities across Asia.

TerraQuantum announced on the 21st that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for a strategic partnership with MegaZone Cloud, a Korean cloud management service provider.

This collaboration represents a first step toward the potential for both companies to build joint technology solutions that drive quantum innovation in the private sector, including financial services and manufacturing, as well as in the public sector, such as weather forecasting and smart city projects.

This agreement between the two companies aims to foster a mutually beneficial ecosystem by encouraging the adoption of quantum computing by enterprises in the Asian market, and especially to improve related industry applications and cultivate talent to bridge the gap in private sector investment in quantum technology.

Lakestar’s 2024 State of Quantum Report recently revealed that Korea has invested over $2.3 billion in the global quantum economy, and this agreement between TeraQuantum and MegaZoneCloud highlights the role that European quantum technologies can play in the Asian market.

Under this agreement, TerraQuantum and MegaZoneCloud plan to combine their respective strengths to develop cutting-edge quantum computing algorithms and applications to promote technological advancement throughout Asia, focusing on the Korean market.
