Abolition of the first document screening process… Evaluation of development capabilities and job suitability
SK ICT Family is introducing a recruitment method centered on practical development capabilities to secure ICT business talent.
SKT (CEO Yoo Young-sang) announced on February 25 that it will hire new developers with less than 3 years of experience along with SK ICT family companies including SK Broadband, SK Shields, 11st, and FSK L&S.
This recruitment will cover three job fields: △Server/Backend Development △Frontend/App Development △Machine Learning/Data Scientist/Data Engineer.
ICT family companies including SKT announced that they have abolished the document screening process and introduced a method of not collecting any information about applicants' academic background, major, age, gender, etc.
The purpose is to focus on verifying the applicant's development capabilities and job suitability rather than their specifications through a practice-oriented evaluation.
Applicants enter their name, contact information, job field, and the order in which they would like to apply for a job among up to five companies within the job field. />
Next, a coding test will be conducted, and applicants can apply to up to five companies based on the results of the coding test.
The first test will assess basic skills in algorithms and programming languages and will be held on March 12.
Those who pass the first test will participate in the second coding test on March 19th and then undergo an interview held by the company they passed to be hired.
Meanwhile, SKT has been recruiting new members since last year through the 'Junior Talent Recruitment' method (selecting applicants with less than 3 years of work experience). The purpose of this is to select new members by focusing on verifying attitudes and capabilities such as a challenging spirit, perseverance, and passion.
Heo Jun, head of SKT Talent, said, “In order to recruit the highest level of diverse developer talent, we boldly abolished the document screening process and planned a joint recruitment program with five companies,” adding, “We look forward to the challenges of excellent, passionate applicants who want to grow together with the SK ICT family in the future.”
