Mouser Electronics has joined forces with Interconnect Systems International (ISI) to offer high-performance PCIe XMC modules.

Mouser announced today a new distribution agreement with Interconnect Systems International (ISI), a Molex company and leading manufacturer of signal processing and data acquisition solutions.

ISI's hardware, software and FPGA IP design teams deliver innovative products that enable faster, more intelligent systems.

This distribution agreement allows Mouser to offer ISI PCI Express XMC modules, including the XU-AWG, which features two 8-lane high-speed serial links supporting PCIe Gen 3.

The XU-AWG XMC card features two 16-bit Analog Devices (ADI) AD9162 digital-to-analog converter (DAC) devices that operate standard at a 5 GSPS update rate.

The module supports interpolation from 1 to 24x with sub-nanosecond inter-channel synchronization alignment. Additionally, inputs supporting external clocking and triggering are provided for synchronization between multiple modules for scalable RF channel counts.

The Xilinx Kintex® Ultrascale XCKU060 FPGA with 4GB of DDR4 RAM memory supports high-performance DSP cores for demanding applications such as radar and wireless IF generation.

Additionally, Mouser offers the XA-160M PCI Express XMC module for high-speed stimulus-response, ultrasonic, and servo control applications.

This module provides two 160 MSPS, 16-bit ADC inputs and two 615 MSPS, 16-bit DAC outputs.

The PCIe interface provides a flexible and scalable data packet system with data rates up to 1,600 Mbps.

An array of internal and external clocking and triggering modes provides application flexibility and multi-module scalability.

Xilinx Artix®-7 FPGA devices with 256Mx16 memory provide data acquisition control, signal processing, buffering, and system interface functions.

Additionally, when using the FrameWork Logic toolset, the XA-160M logic can be fully customized via the VHDL and Simulink platforms.

The ISI PCIe XMC x8 lane adapter allows single-width XMC modules to be used in PCI Express slots.

The XMC module is VITA 42.3 compliant and supports up to eight PCI Express lanes. This adapter product is fully PCI Express compliant, and all signals on the PCI Express host bus are directly connected to the XMC module.
