Mouser Electronics, a global authorized distributor with the newest electronic components and industrial automation products, today announced that it is now stocking the AMD/Xilinx Kria™ K24 System-on-Module (SOM).
The K24 SOM is a cost-effective solution featuring a customizable Zynq™ UltraScale+™ MPSoC device that is approximately half the size of a credit card, delivering power, cost, and performance optimized for DSP-based industrial applications such as motor control, medical equipment, sensor fusion, multi-axis robotics, and factory automation.
The AMD/Xilinx K24 SOM, available from Mouser, is the latest addition to the Kria SOM portfolio, available in commercial and industrial grades.
This SOM has 132 user-accessible I/Os, allowing connection of up to three medium-sized BLDC motors with encoders, and provides TSN-based networking via four 1G Ethernet interfaces (two PS GEMs, two PL GEMs).
The platform is highly scalable to a wide variety of end applications and can flexibly adapt to evolving system requirements.
