Avnet 커뮤니티 엘리먼트14가 AMD와 협력해 ‘인공 지능의 눈(Eye on Intelligence)’ 설계 공모전을 시작했다.
'AI Eyes' Design Contest Begins, Applications Until July 17th
Element14 is launching an AI-based competition to encourage creative use of FPGA components and innovative applications of AMD’s adaptive SoC technology.
Avnet Community Element14 announced on the 20th that it has launched the 'Eye on Intelligence' design contest in collaboration with AMD.
The competition will challenge participants to design and build embedded vision projects using a development kit based on the AMD Zynq-7000TM SoC device.
Embedded vision is increasingly being integrated into a wide range of projects and is having a significant impact on a variety of technologies, technological innovations, and product development.
AMD adaptive SoCs and FPGAs are ideal devices for building embedded visual intelligence systems. This contest provides a great opportunity for developers to enhance their embedded vision technologies by leveraging the AMD Zynq-7000TM SoC-based development kit.
15 official applicants will receive a free Digilent Arty Z7 (P/N 410-346-20) development platform designed around the AMD Zynq-7000TM SoC.
To compete for prizes, entrants must blog about their design process and the results of their embedded vision project, and use the kit in their final project.
The competition encourages creative use of FPGA components and innovative applications of AMD's adaptive SoC technology.
Example works for this competition include facial recognition signage, ANPR registration plate monitoring system, object classification and object classification system.
“This design competition is a great opportunity for developers to push the boundaries of embedded vision technology using AMD’s adaptable SoCs and FPGAs,” said Andreea Teodorescu, global head of product marketing and community at element14. “We’re excited to see the groundbreaking projects the participants create and how they leverage the AMD Zynq-7000TM SoC to accelerate the advancement of machine learning and AI-based applications.”
The grand prize winner will receive a Multicomp Pro MP720025 digital oscilloscope and a Multicomp Pro MP710082 bench power supply, valued at approximately $900, while the runner-up prize will receive a Multicomp Pro MP720857 portable oscilloscope and a Tenma 72-2660 portable DC power supply, valued at approximately $380.
The final product to complete the collection is the Multicomp Pro MP781004 handheld digital multimeter.br />
Applications are due by July 17, the 15 selected challengers will be required to complete their projects and blog posts by October 25, and the winners will be announced in October 2024.
