Mouser Electronics, a global authorized distributor for the latest electronic components and industrial automation products, is helping to effectively improve air quality by supplying CO₂ sensor modules from Renesas.

Mouser announced today that it is now stocking the RRH47000 CO₂ sensor module from Renesas Electronics.

The RRH47000 is a high-precision, single-channel, non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensor module that provides reliable monitoring and high-quality measurements of carbon dioxide to effectively improve air quality in industrial building control, HVAC, indoor air control (IAQ), smart cities, factories, home appliances, demand-controlled ventilation (DCV), air purifiers, wireless access points, and IoT applications.

Available at Mouser, the Renesas Electronics RRH47000 features an efficient design that integrates automatic baseline calibration (ABC) for carbon dioxide concentration measurement from 0 to 5,000 ppm and an MCU for data processing and output, making it a single-channel NDIR CO₂ It combines a humidity and temperature sensor with excellent relative humidity (RH) sensitivity of up to ±3.5% accuracy, including the sensor.

Additionally, the RRH47000 has a wide operating temperature range of -10°C to +50°C, eliminating the need for separate compensation components and making it ideal for applications that must comply with standards such as Title 24 established by the State of California, RESET Grade B, WELL, UBA, and ASHRAE 62.2.

Additionally, Mouser offers the RRH47000-EVK evaluation kit for Renesas Electronics’ RRH47000 CO2 sensor module, enabling simultaneous measurement of carbon dioxide, temperature, and humidity via the RRH47000 daughterboard.

The RRH47000-EVK from Renesas Electronics also includes a USB-C connector for connection to a computer (ESCom board) running intuitive evaluation software, and a PMOD pin connector for connection to an MCU evaluation kit.

It also provides easy visualization of sensor data via an easy-to-use software GUI and supports all operation modes for Renesas environmental and flow sensors, making it ideal for comprehensive sensor evaluation.
