LG Electronics' Gram 2-in-1, a 14-inch convertible with a 13.3-inch screen
LG Electronics simultaneously released the LG Gram 2-in-1, featuring a rotating screen, in Korea and the US on the 29th. The 2-in-1 is a convertible notebook that combines the functionality of a laptop and a tablet. Its 14-inch, touch-enabled Full HD IPS display can rotate 360 degrees, allowing it to be used as a tablet when needed. The built-in stylus from Wacom makes it even more convenient.

The 2-in-1 boasts a 14-inch screen with a reduced bezel, making it similar in size to a standard 13.3-inch laptop and weighing just 1,145 grams. Equipped with the latest Intel 8th-generation quad-core processor and the latest DDR4 memory, it also features a slot for an additional SSD, a power button with fingerprint recognition, and a 72Wh battery.

The shipping price ranges from 1.89 million won to 2.29 million won depending on the model. LG Electronics is giving away the 2019 Gram Office Value Pack (including Hancom Office 2018) and a dedicated pouch to customers who purchase the LG Gram 2-in-1 by the end of March.


SK Telecom Releases Marble Black Mini Phone and Major Updates
SK Telecom announced on the 29th that it will be adding miniTalk location service and the voice recognition AI "Who" phone function to its children's smartphone, the "Mini Phone." This update will be released via over-the-air (OTA) on the afternoon of February 1st, alongside the launch of the Mini Phone in Marble Black.

The Mini Phone, first released in March 2018, retails for 253,000 won. With a dedicated plan, users can receive a subsidy of 220,000 won, bringing the price down to 33,000 won. The newly released Marble Black color, with its harmonious black and silver design, is expected to catch the eye of young customers.

SK Telecom is holding a special event to celebrate the launch of its Marvel Black Mini Phone. Customers who purchase the Mini Phone from February 1st to March 31st will be entered into a raffle to win a trip to Shanghai Disneyland Theme Park for four families, and an amusement park staycation package for 30 families. Samsung Electronics' premium cordless vacuum cleaner, the Samsung Jet, is about to be released.
Samsung Electronics announced on the 28th that it will release its premium cordless vacuum cleaner, the Samsung Jet, on February 7th.

To achieve up to 200W of suction power, Samsung minimized air resistance with a "digital inverter motor." High-speed switching control, more than twice as fast as conventional models, and a highly heat-conductive aluminum frame and cooling channel design also significantly contributed to the increased suction power.
The Jet also features a "5-stage HEPA (Hyper-Purity Air Purifier) System" to prevent fine dust particles sucked into the vacuum from being re-introduced into the room via the exhaust air. It blocks 99.999% of allergens, including invisible fine dust particles measuring 0.3-10㎛ in size, as well as pollen and mold.

The newly applied battery can be used continuously for up to 60 minutes (1.5 times longer than the existing one, based on the handy normal mode) when fully charged, and is removable and replaceable.

Reflecting the lifestyles of Korean consumers, Jet offers a variety of dedicated brushes optimized for Korean-style living spaces and floor cleaning. The "Mopping Brush" boasts high floor adhesion and rapidly rotates a cleaning cloth to easily remove stubborn stains and grease from kitchen floors. Its cleaning time is up to 80 minutes. Also provided are a 'soft floor brush' that prevents hair from getting tangled by applying a fleece material that includes anti-static silver thread, and a 'pet/bedding brush' that thoroughly removes pet hair and dust from blankets and sofas.

The Samsung Jet comes in two colors: Titanium and Silver. Depending on the number of batteries and optional brushes, the retail price ranges from 969,000 won to 1,399,000 won.


The first Galaxy phone with an Infinity-O display has been released.
On the 25th, Samsung Electronics released the 'Galaxy A9 Pro', the first Galaxy smartphone to feature an 'Infinity-O' display. The Infinity-O display fills the entire front of the smartphone with a screen, except for the front camera hole.

The Galaxy A9 Pro features a triple rear camera with a 24-megapixel primary lens, a 10-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor, allowing you to capture your everyday moments in a truly special way. ASUS Launches Two Intel B365 Motherboards with Enhanced Durability
On the 25th, ASUS officially launched two new motherboards, PRIME B365M-A and PRIME B365M-K, based on Intel's B365 chipset in Korea.

The B365 chipset, newly introduced by Intel in the fourth quarter of 2018, is one of the 300 series chipsets based on Intel's LGA 1151 socket, and is the successor to the B360 chipset, which already has a high market penetration rate.
