'Summit M64' announced, PCIe 6.x, CXL 3.x, NVMe 2.x features integrated

Teledyne LeCroy (CEO: Woonjae Lee), a global leader in protocol test and measurement solutions, is providing full support to developers transitioning to the latest PCIe Gen6.0 to facilitate development and troubleshooting.

Teledyne LeCroy announces its latest PCIe protocol analyzer and exerciser, the Summit M64.

This product integrates PCIe 6.x, CXL 3.x, and NVMe 2.x capabilities to enable high-performance test and measurement.

Teledyne LeCroy’s Gen6.0 x4Lane Analyzer and Exerciser integrated system captures and generates PCIe 6.x, CXL 3.x, and NVMe 2.x traffic at x4 link widths and speeds up to 64 GT/s.

Summit M64 boasts a groundbreaking design that integrates a flexible host emulator adapter directly into the platform, eliminating the need for a separate test platform.

The product, Summit M64, will be demonstrated at the PCI-SIG Developer Conference in Taipei, Taiwan, February 17-18.

The system addresses the complexities of modern PCIe, CXL, and NVMe design and testing with integrated protocol analyzer and exerciser capabilities.

SummiLet’s take a look at the key features of the t M64: It operates by directly connecting an integrated host emulator adapter or device emulator card, generates high-performance 64 GT/s traffic for devices with link widths up to four lanes, and includes a suite of standardized compliance tests.

It also supports interposers for various PCIe form factors, captures, records, decodes, analyzes, and displays complex PCI Express I/O streams, and provides CATC Trace™ hierarchical displays, real-time statistics, protocol traffic summaries, detailed error reports, powerful scripting, and user-defined test reports.

It also provides realistic traffic to the device under test, including programmable fault injection.

“With the launch of Summit M64, Teledyne LeCroy extends its industry leadership by providing a powerful platform for developing and solving the next generation of high-performance PCIe devices,” said Joe Mendolia, vice president of marketing for Teledyne LeCroy’s Protocol Solutions Group.

“We are also working closely with the computing industry to provide enterprises with the analytics capabilities they need to develop PCIe storage, HPC and AI technologies, and we are confident that engineers transitioning to PCIe 6.x will appreciate the rich decode libraries and analysis capabilities available across Teledyne LeCroy’s full range of PCIe test tools,” he added.
