EMITE and Anritsu announced on the 20th an improved Over-the-Air (OTA) measurement solution compliant with the 2x2 MIMO specification of the latest wireless LAN standard IEEE 802.11be.

The IEEE 802.11be standard is the successor to IEEE 802.11ax (Wi-Fi 6/6E) and aims to support high-speed communications, including ultra-high-resolution video streaming of 4K or higher and advanced AR/VR experiences.

The newly announced OTA measurement solution integrates Anritsu’s Wireless Connectivity Test Set MT8862A with EMITE’s range of anechoic and reverberant chambers.

This enables developers to precisely measure the total radiated power (TRP) and total isotropic sensitivity (TIS) performance of IEEE 802.11be devices.

The EMITE chamber and Anritsu’s MT8862A provide integrated communications protocols and optimized performance to enable reliable performance analysis of Wi-Fi 7 devices.
