SE Academy Launches New Data Center Training Course
Since its establishment in 2007, approximately 2,000 graduates have been produced each year.
Operates 31 training programs on technology and products


Schneider Electric announced on the 17th that it will be opening a special course for data center experts at the 'Schneider Electric (SE) Academy'.

SE Academy was founded in 2007 and offers specialized technical knowledge courses in building and industrial automation, power, infrastructure, etc. to approximately 2,000 students every year.

Currently, SE Academy is operating 31 training programs on technology, products, and solutions, divided into the following fields: General, Industrial Automation, and Energy management. Each training course is structured around theories required in the field and practical training using dedicated training equipment.

This year, we plan to establish and operate a new 'Data Center Expert Course', a specialized technical training program tailored to the characteristics of domestic data centers, reflecting the cloud-centric data center industry trend and consumers' needs for specialized training.

Rather than simply introducing solutions, we have signed a business agreement with Critical Facility Services (CRIFAS), a data center design consulting and certification company, to provide in-depth lectures to customers who design, build, and operate actual data centers.

The Data Center Specialist course consists of a basic course (2 days) and an advanced course (3 days), and the curriculum and instructor composition will be operated neutrally, excluding influence from related manufacturers.

The basic course is designed for those with 1 to 3 years of experience and provides a basic understanding of data center architecture elements, IT, electricity, machinery, firefighting, security, and operations.

The advanced course is a professional training course for operators, planners, and designers with more than 5 years of experience in data centers, and includes a tour of domestic data centers.

All SE Academy courses are held at Schneider Electric’s Seoul headquarters and Busan training center, and the program and detailed schedule can be found on the Schneider Electric website. In addition to regular training, customized training is also available, where customers can create courses according to their needs.

Meanwhile, SE Academy plans to open a Schneider Electric training center at Busan Dong-eui University of Science and Technology and promote an industry-academia cooperation program to foster specialized human resources by operating five educational courses, including energy management.
