August 26th - September 18th, exclusively held on the official website and company mall
Wearable robot startup Werobotics is holding a special discount event for 'WIM', Korea's first daily wearable robot, to celebrate Chuseok.
This event will be held exclusively on the official website of Werobotics from August 26 to September 18, and with the benefit of a 200,000 won coupon, B2C products can be purchased for 2.99 million won. In addition, a Wim-specific battery will be provided as a gift when purchasing Wim during the event period.
WIM is the first wearable robot for everyday use, and it has received a lot of attention even before its release. It won the Innovation Award in the Robotics and Accessibility & Aging Tech categories at CES2024 held in Las Vegas earlier this year.
'Wim' helps with walking in everyday life with four modes: assistance mode, exercise mode, uphill mode, and downhill mode. Assistance mode helps increase stride length and walking speed by lifting the legs, while exercise mode, on the other hand, provides resistance to the legs, helping to use more lower body muscles than usual, thus helping to improve muscle strength.
Werobotics has improved the convenience and functionality of wearable robots, which were previously limited to special environments such as medical and industrial use, so that they can be used in everyday life. Just by wearing Wim and walking, the wearer's musculoskeletal information is analyzed based on posture information and walking data, and the wearer can selectively improve the areas that are necessary for them, such as walking posture, efficiency, and muscle strength enhancement. It can also be used for seniors whose muscle strength has decreased due to old age or patients who need continuous walking exercise due to illness.
In addition, we opened the 'WIM Walking Center', a professional sports training facility in Jamsil, Seoul in March of this year, to provide in-depth consultations from walking exercise experts and opportunities to experience WIM.
A representative of Werobotics said, “We planned this event with the hope that many parents will be able to walk together with their families again with WIM,” and added, “As this is the first event prepared by Werobotics, we ask for your interest and hope that everyone will express their gratitude to their loved ones this Chuseok with Werobotics’ walking assistance wearable robot, WIM.”
Meanwhile, Werobotics will be holding a WIM pop-up store in Busan starting in September.
