ADAS·Cluster Controller Integration Powerful Platform Foundation
Apex.AI and LG Electronics are collaborating on the development of next-generation HPC for SDV, combining LG Electronics’ electronics expertise with Apex.AI’s advanced software capabilities, which is expected to drive innovation in the automotive industry and enhance vehicle functions.
Apex.AI, a leader in reliable and certified software for mobility, and LG Electronics, a global leader in electronics, announced on the 18th that they have signed an MOU to jointly research and develop prototypes of a next-generation high-performance computer (HPC) that integrates advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and cluster controllers.
A prototype developed as part of this collaboration will be showcased in a demo vehicle at CES 2026, highlighting the seamless, scalable, and secure platform capabilities that Apex.OS delivers.
This innovative collaboration is expected to attract the attention of many stakeholders, including Tier 1 suppliers and automakers from Korea and Japan, who are interested in future mobility solutions.
“Our collaboration with LG on this cutting-edge HPC project underscores our commitment to accelerating the development of future-oriented, software-defined mobility,” said Dejan Pangercic, CTO of Apex.AI. “Apex.OS is optimized to meet the demands of next-generation vehicles, and this collaboration will demonstrate its potential at CES 2026.”
LG Electronics A2X Center Executive Director Kim Dong-wook said, “Through collaboration with Apex.AI, We expect synergy effects in the area of safety-certified middleware solutions. In addition to pursuing safety certification for our MCO (Mixed Critical Orchestration) Piccolo solution, we plan to utilize Apex.AI’s software technology to present a safety-certified solution covering the entire spectrum of SW/HW separation, service integration, operation, and management,” he said.
