ETRI's 2023 Representative Achievements and 9 Technologies Announced
The Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute announced its research and management vision for this year along with its New Year’s address. In addition, the representative research achievements and technology award winners that shined in 2023 were revealed.
The Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) announced its 2024 New Year research and management plan on the 2nd.
ETRI announced that it has pledged to secure strategic and original technologies to secure future new growth engines and to carry out its mission based on promoting ESG management.
In addition, ETRI's core strategy is also 'mission-centered research and development innovation plan.' This refers to a management method that sets specific tasks and deadlines for achieving them to solve current issues.
The institute announced plans to create mid- to large-scale research results through the Top Challenge Project last year and solidify its position as a key forward base for national strategic technologies.
Accordingly, we decided to focus on increasing the spread of research results through programs such as ▲ nurturing new researchers, ▲ investment to strengthen performance by linking dispersed achievements, and ▲ full-scale technology commercialization project to strengthen open R&D capabilities.
In particular, by establishing the 'Research Results Dissemination and Integration Strategy System (e-STAMP)', it is expected that the contribution of research results to industrial innovation will be increased by considering industrialization from the R&D planning and execution stages.
