SK Hynix established the Safety Development and Manufacturing Headquarters and the Business Headquarters, and appointed Kwak No-jeong and No Jong-won as presidents, respectively.

SK Hynix announced on the 2nd that it has carried out an organizational restructuring and executive appointments in 2022 after a report to the board of directors in order to solidify its position as a global first-class technology company and prepare for a second leap forward.

First, the company established the ‘Safety Development and Manufacturing Headquarters’ and ‘Business Headquarters’ organizations under the CEO.

In order to strengthen the responsibility and authority for safety and health of employees, the role of the existing Development and Manufacturing General Manager has been expanded to Safety Development and Manufacturing General Manager.

Kwak No-jeong, head of manufacturing/technology, has been promoted to president and takes charge of this organization.

The business division will lead future growth strategies and execution along with global business, and Jongwon Noh, who is in charge of management support, will be promoted to president and lead this organization.

Next, a new 'American Business' organization was established to implement the 'Inside America' strategy, and CEO Lee Seok-hee will concurrently serve as the head of this organization.

Under the American business, there is 'American R&D' organization will be created together. SK Hynix plans to strengthen the global competitiveness of its NAND business through the new organization established in the Americas and create partnerships with the world's leading ICT companies.

The 'Corporate Culture Upgrade TF' will be established, and President Kwak No-jeong will concurrently serve as the head of this organization. The top executives of each division will participate in this TF, communicate with members, and establish a work culture that is suitable for a global first-class technology company.

Lastly, SK Hynix decided to pursue bold generational changes and changes from the perspective of diversity and inclusion for early development of excellent human resources. In this new executive appointment, the company appointed Son Soo-yong as its first full-time executive, Shin Seung-ah as a capable female executive, and Lee Jae-seo, born in 1982, as an excellent leader of the MZ generation.
