KES 2024 10 Items to be Exhibited, Focusing on Industrial, Automotive and Consumer
Providing products that developers can easily use without professional coding
“Under the banner of achieving digitalization of physical things, we are supplying approximately 75,000 products in sensing, measurement, calculation, communication, and power, and through this, we are doing our best to supply industrial, automotive, and consumer-related products.”
Analog Devices (ADI) announced at a press conference on the 23rd that it will participate in the Korea Electronics Show (KES 2024) and showcase 10 items in the Industrial, Automotive, and Consumer sectors.
ADI Managing Director Cha Seong-geun, who was in charge of the explanation that day, said that ADI is developing and supplying products under the banner of digitizing physical things, and that sensing, measurement, calculation, communication, and power are essential for digitization, so the company is distributing related products.

ADI, which celebrates its 59th anniversary this year, recorded sales of $12.3 billion in 2023. Among them, the industrial market had a sales distribution of 53%, automotive 24%, communications 13%, and consumer 10%, and products are also supplied to other fields such as aviation, space, and defense.
It supplies approximately 75,000 products and has over 125,000 customers worldwide.
We are also expanding our own production capacity and continuing to invest to more than double our current production capacity by 2026.
We are particularly focused on the technology sector, with 11,000 of our 26,000 employees being engineers.
This time, I participated in the 55th Korea Electronics Show (KES 2024), and introduced 10 items from the entire product lineup that I judged would be helpful for future industrial development.
In the industrial area, TRINAMIC motor control, BMS solutions, AC meters/DC meters, and vibration sensors were launched.
Trinamic motor control has the advantage of being easy for developers to use. Existing motor controllers required specialized coding, which could take one to two years to learn.
On the other hand, tri-dynamic motor control has the advantage that it can be used at an expert level with only one day of training.
This exhibition showcased the XY demo (TMC5272), the beer mug demo that doesn't shake even when moved (TMC4361), and the pendulum demo (TMC4671+TMC6100).

It also introduced a 48V, 100A BMS solution (ADBMS6948) for use in e-bikes, automated processes, etc.
AC meters/DC meters (ADE7953, 9000, 9113) for measuring energy usage and power were also exhibited.
Also on display was a vibration sensor (ADXL356) for wireless smart mesh vibration monitoring.
In the automotive field, GMSL (Gigabit Multimedia Serial Link) was exhibited. This product can transmit power as well as electrical signals, which helps reduce the weight of the vehicle by reducing cables.
.
In the consumer area, AI MCU (MAX78000/MAX78002) and health sensor (MAX32668, MAX32674C) platforms were exhibited.
AI MCU is a product that integrates artificial intelligence functions into a small microcontroller to perform high-speed machine learning tasks with low power. It can reduce the amount of traffic during artificial intelligence learning at the edge and lower operating costs, so it can be used conveniently in on-device AI products.
Additionally, health sensors are used for biometric analysis such as heart rate and InBody.
ADI Managing Director Cha Seong-geun, who was in charge of explaining the ADI booth, said, “ADI is not biased towards a specific business, but supplies various products to the entire industry,” and “We will do our best in research and development to supply suitable products in line with future industry trends.”
