“Based on our unrivaled technological prowess in the industrial sector and innovative AI solutions, we are increasing our share in the industrial automation and automotive markets.”
At a press conference held at the ADI office in Samseong-dong on March 13, Analog Devices (ADI) Managing Director Cha Sung-keun announced that AI solutions are rapidly emerging in the industrial automation and automotive markets, and that ADI is expanding its market in these markets.
Managing Director Cha Sung-keun said that ADI achieved sales of approximately $940 million as of 2024 and recorded a market capitalization of $11.07 billion at the end of 2024.
By industry, the sales ratio was disclosed as follows: industrial sector with 46%, automotive sector with 30%, consumer sector with 13%, and communications sector with 11%.
Managing Director Cha Seong-geun said that one of ADI's strengths is its unrivaled technological prowess in various industrial fields.
He mentioned that the company is particularly prominent in the fields of industrial automation and healthcare, including automation equipment such as digital X-rays and energy management.
With this, ADI gets approximately 46% of its total revenue from industrial automation. , which shows how strong ADI's position in this field is.
The automotive sector is also showing notable performance from ADI. ADI said its sales in the automotive sector have grown rapidly in recent years, now accounting for about 30 percent of its total sales.
As the transition from internal combustion engines to electric vehicles accelerates, advances in AI and sensor technology in the automotive sector are cited as key factors.
These technologies are leading to advancements in connectivity and sensors, driving ADI's growth in the automotive market.
ADI also focuses on developing solutions that benefit people's lives and help the world.
AI solutions are driving innovation in a variety of fields, including renewable energy, streamlined human communication, and sustainable automotive materials.
They aim for continued growth in a variety of areas including industrial automation, digital healthcare, and immersive consumer experiences.
One of the secrets to ADI's success is its intelligent edge technology.
This plays a major role in providing customized solutions tailored to the needs of our customers.
ADI has approximately 75,000 products and serves more than 100,000 customers worldwide.
Since its founding in 1965, ADI has secured various core competencies based on approximately 60 years of experience.
It is particularly distinguished in analog and mixed-signal technologies, and has recently achieved great results in the field of power management.
ADI's growth is also notable from a financial perspective.
As of 2024, it has invested approximately 2 trillion won (150 million dollars) in research and development and holds more than 8,000 patents.
Additionally, it is expected that there will be a capital investment of approximately 1 trillion won, and continued growth can be expected in the future.
ADI's customer-centric management philosophy also plays a major role in its success.
ADI has approximately 24,000 employees worldwide, more than 55% of whom are engineers, working on new devices and solutions. ADI is constantly striving to provide customized solutions that reflect the needs of its customers.
“ADI’s innovative solutions are driving growth in the industrial automation and automotive markets, and will continue to support development in a variety of fields in the future,” said Managing Director Cha Sung-keun. “ADI will continue to grow in the future through the development of technologies that benefit people’s lives and contribute to the world.”

Meanwhile, ADI participated in 'Automation World 2025 (AW 2025)' held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul from March 12th to 14th.
At this exhibition, △TRINAMIC motor control △10Base-T1 solution △HB Isolated Gate driver △MEMS-based vibration sensor were showcased.
TRINAMIC motor control has the advantage of being able to be used at an expert level with just one day of training, overcoming the disadvantage of existing motor controllers being difficult to learn. This exhibition showcased the XY demo, a demonstration of a beer mug that doesn't shake when moved.

The 10Base-T1 solution features 10 Mbps data rates, support for a variety of topologies, and power over a single-twisted pair cable, providing seamless Ethernet connectivity for DDC controllers and edge nodes in point-to-point, ring, and line network configurations.
It supports a nearly unlimited number of edge nodes, provides real-time control, and overcomes the limitations of previous protocols.
The HB Isolated Gate driver is expected to be widely used in data sensors, renewable energy, etc. as it can use high-voltage power with high efficiency by applying semiconductors such as GaN (gallium nitride) and SiC (silicon carbide).
MEMS-based vibration sensors provide precise and fast vibration monitoring and accuracy in factory automation, robotics, and AI-based edge applications.
