Henkel Home Care Korea and 14 major domestic distributors do not need to invest in a separate computer system because they use Inspian’s cloud EDI service in the form of software as a service (SaaS). Since Inspian is in charge of operating the electronic document interchange (EDI) service, they can improve efficiency in the operation, management, and maintenance of the computer infrastructure.
Noh Hong-rae, director of Henkel Home Care Korea, said, “Automatic collection of order information in transactions with 14 major domestic distributors has improved work processes, increased operational efficiency, and improved work accuracy, resulting in a triple effect.”
Inspien's cloud EDI service allows convenient use of logistics-related electronic data interchange (EDI) with domestic and international partners. The 'Cloud EDI' service supports various global EDI standards including X.12, EDIFACT, RosettaNet, and VDA, and also supports communication protocols such as AS2/AS3/AS4, OFTP, SFTP, SOAP, and REST.
These same technical standards are also used by eBay, Amazon MWS, AppleCare+ API, Apple EDI, Payoneer, and others, and enable document exchange with semiconductor companies Texas Instruments (TI), Maxim Integrated, Infineon, Bosch, Nexperia, Delphi, BMW, Ford, Volkswagen, Audi, and Harley-Davidson.
Choi Jeong-gyu, CEO of Inspeon, said, “Our SaaS EDI makes it easy for overseas manufacturers to build a domestic distribution network linkage system,” and “We can expect the following benefits: securing system stability, improving security, reducing costs, increasing operational efficiency, and improving work accuracy/speed.”
